Rubato

Rubato is a daily planner for iPhone and Mac. It rests on one idea: a plan is fluid. In the morning you stack what you mean to do — and the blocks are soft. They get pushed, they flow into the gaps, they split.

The old way breaks the moment reality arrives. Build the day's schedule, then finish something early or run long on something else — and everything after it is wrong. The plan you drew at breakfast stops meaning anything.

Rubato keeps it meaning something. Finish a task early and the rest of the day moves up to meet you; take longer than planned and what follows shifts back. Through all of it, the things that can't move — a video call, an errand out — stay fixed to their time. Rubato stays a guide that fits the day you're actually having.

On the Mac it lives in the menu bar and syncs with the iPhone app. From either one, your work keeps moving.
